About GridRecipe

GridRecipe turns recipes into grids you can cook from: ingredients down the left, every step right next to what it uses. It's made by mSale, a small software studio in Kristiansand, Norway.

Why we built it

The grid format comes from Michael Chu's Cooking for Engineers. We loved reading recipes that way but nobody wants to draw tables by hand, and family recipes tend to live on fading cards in one drawer. GridRecipe does the tedious part: it reads the card, the cookbook page or the recipe site and lays it out for you to check, print and share.

How it's paid for

No ads and no selling data. The builder, your library, share links and PDF downloads are free. The AI conversions cost us money per recipe, so after the free ones you can buy a pack, or GridRecipe Pro for a one-time $12. Payments go through Stripe; we never see your card number. See the terms and the privacy policy.
